Our History
In 1946 Theo Watts, a former RAAF pilot, established an accounting practice in Dungog in the Hunter Valley Region of NSW. He built up a successful practice based on listening to his clients, providing expert advice and instilling in his small staff the country values of respect and quality service.
The range of life experiences and interests from all Directors and staff over the years has added to the understanding of a broader range of industries and enhanced the outlook of the firm.
In 2008, 2009 and 2010 Addison Partners was named in BRW Magazine's Top 100 Accounting Firms in Australia.
Today, Addison Partners is a full service, professional accounting firm with four partners, over 30 staff and offices in Dungog, Gloucester, Nelson Bay, Singleton and Gresford.

In addition to our historic base, we have built a reputation in other areas across New South Wales. While our offices are located in rural areas, our client base is diverse in terms of geographical location, industry type and size.
The firm has evolved to meet the needs of its clients and this has included substantial change. The use of technology combined with a commitment to a high level of service and expertise means we can effectively service clients regardless of where they are located.
